To get married in Hawaii you will need to obtain a marriage license from the State of Hawaii. The license is valid for thirty days from the date of issue. There is no waiting period, and no blood test is required.

You can apply for the license through the State of Hawaii or with an authorized license agent. A wedding coordinator can arrange an appointment for you with a license agent, or you can contact the State Department of Health to get a current list of license agents around the island.

You will need proof of age and identification, the Marriage License Application Form (download link provided below) and the application fee in cash. The form is to be signed in the pressence of the license agent.
